Several years ago, in the vibrant city of Orlando, a unique idea was born over a casual dinner. Dr. Tom Winters, a local orthopedic surgeon, and his wife, Dr. Becky Moroose, were enjoying a meal with friends when inspiration struck. Becky mused, "Wouldn’t it be great to create a Cheers-style restaurant and bar where family, friends, locals, and visitors to Orlando could come together?" As a managing member of a real-estate partnership with holdings across from Orlando Health, Tom knew the area was ripe for such a venue. This shared vision led to the creation of Delaney's Tavern, a place where tradition meets innovation.

He knew that a restaurant and bar were much needed in the area. Their dream was clear: a place where everyone feels welcome, where hospitality and quality go hand in hand.
Partnering with Experts
Through personal contacts, Tom partnered with Greg Allowe, a long-time hotelier and restaurateur specializing in independent, boutique properties. Over many months of brainstorming and fine-tuning, Delaney’s Tavern was born. Their combined expertise and passion for hospitality laid the foundation for what would become a beloved local hotspot.
